Chateau Moulin St Geoges, St Emillion, 2010
This 2010 is certainly more structured than the 2009 and it shows a firm backbone of ripe tannins. The fruit is excellent and the length shows the overall quality.
Gervey Chambertin, Bruno Clair, 2010
Broad, ripe and chunky yet smooth, Autumn berry fruit flavours, tinged with a lifting red cherry juiciness. Exuberant, verlvety and surprisingly long (Pinot Noir)
Chateau Cantenac Brown, 3eme Cru Classe, Margaux, 2009
With a ‘surprising Margaux’ perfume and delicious, juicy concentration on the palate, this is pure and charming wine. Supple tannins melt on the smooth polished palate which is completed by lovely, fresh finish.
Chateau Langoa Barton, 3eme Cru Classe, St Julien, 2000
Well known cru that offers real value. Full bodied, elegant with a sense of opulence
Barolo, Cannubi, Paolo Scavino, 2006
Brick-red colour with a blueish rim. Very nice onn the nose showing dried rose hips, licorice, fudge and herbs.
Chateau Calon Segur, 3eme Cru Classe, St Estephe, 2000
This has a fabulous nose of warm, exotic herbs and spices, followed by harmonious tannins.
Chateau Razan Segla, 2eme Cru Classe, Margaux, 2005
This is an absolutely beautiful wine with a woodland nose of sweet brambles and undergrowth.
Chateau Lynch Bages, 5eme Cru Classe, Pauillac, 2005
Very pure nose with a hint of smokey oak (from 80% new barrels)
Puligny Motrachet, Hameau de Blagny 1er Cru, Leroy, 2008
Dense and powerful with a hint of sweetness in its orchard and stone fruit
Chambertain Clos de Beze, Grand Cru, Joseph Drouhin, 2007
Large-framed warm ripe fruit flavours notes of damson cherry.
