From the White Bear to Botley Hill Farmhouse. Approx 7.75 miles

From White Bear car park turn right onto Fairchildes Lane. As you go around the left-hand bend, take the bridleway on your right - it is just couple of minutes from your start point.

Head towards a small gate and proceed through, then cycle down a steep hill and up the other side. When you reach the top of the hill, the path turns left and continues for about 200 yards.

You will soon approach another small gate, where you should turn left on to Scotshall Lane. Keep going for 5 minutes until you reach a small junction, then turn right.

You should now be on Church Lane. Continue down the road for 10 minutes or so passing Holt Woods to your right.

After another 5 minutes you will be on the road which runs into Chelsham Common Road.

Keep cycling and look out for a bridleway on your left - it has no gate and is a small path which leads in to Rogers Lane and comes out on Limpsfield Road.

Be careful, you are approaching a busy road where you should cross over to High Lane.

Head down High Lane for about 100 yards then take the small gravel road on your right which is called Plantation Lane.

Continue for about 10 minutes until you go around a sharp right hand bend which is a steep hill towards Woldingham Golf Course Club House.

As you cycle up the small hill you will notice a small track to your left on the golf course, continue on this path for about 10 minutes, and keep a look out for horses which you must give way to at any time.

Continue up a short steep hill. As you start to go down the other side you will notice a wooden fence and a cottage on its own where you should turn right up the path where you will cross over the road on to Butlers Dene Road.

Continue for 10 minutes on Butlers Dene Road until you come to the end of the road. Now cross over the road onto Southfields Road.

Continue straight ahead, cycling for about 15 minutes where the small lane becomes narrow and heads uphill with the stables and woods to your left and the golf course to your right.

Now you should be approaching The Ridge where you need to turn left.

After about 15 minutes you should be approaching Croydon Road where you should turn left. Botley Hill Farmhouse is a few hundred yards on the left.

Keep a look out for horses which you must give way to at any time!
